The Depravation of Lone Tree
The town of Lakeside Harbour is small, friendly town that survives primarily on its fishing industry. It lies roughly on the point where the Ravenwash River meets up with the Lake of the Crow. It is, in difference to most other towns, not dominated by humans; halflings comprise the majority of Lakeside’s population. The smell of wet wood penetrates the nostrils here, as the town in built mainly on wooden platforms extending over the lake it resides on.
A nuisance to the (few) foreigners who visit here and are unfamiliar with it, frogs inhabit much of the town. They are seen as a sign of good fortune to most of Lakeside’s residents, who hold the animal above all others.
